I"m running a bit late on this blog post but here it is! This family was amazing to work with, so many laughs and good times that for a minute you forget you're working because you're having so much fun! They were the perfect ending to a great year, even with the weather being a little on the chilly side they were troopers and we got some really great photos out of it :) Here are a few of my favorite from our session:
Now that I've posted some of my favorite client photos from last year I thought it would be only fitting to share a few of my favorite personal moments from the past year, and some "Mommy moments" even. These are also pretty hard for me to narrow down as 2015 was a big year of firsts in a lot of ways. you will have to bear with me as some of these photos may not be technically perfect but they all hold a place in my heart!
It's that time of year again! Time for me to take a look back at how many wonderful clients I've had and share some of my favorite photos from our sessions together. 2015 has been a amazing year for me, I've had some great sessions with past clients and even managed to meet some new fabulous clients along the way. I am most grateful to all my clients as they are the reason I am able to continue following this passion of mine. So! Here's a big CHEERS to ending off 2015 with a bang and even bigger THANK YOU to those wonderful clients of mine! Looking forward to an amazing 2016 with all of you!
So many great photos to choose from I could go on and on! Stay tuned in the next week or so for my top personal photos of 2015. I hope you loved them as much as I do! Happy New Year!
I simply love working with this family! Never a dull moment, and always sure to have a laugh! The fact that mom and I are friends is just a added bonus. Its crazy to me how much the kids have grown since our last session together... how does that always seem to happen with kids regardless of their age? I loved the location that we picked for this years shoot and think that we may or may not have to go there again, even though we missed most of the leaves it was still stunning to see! Here's a look at how our session went.
With this being the busiest time of year I have found myself falling behind with the blog posts! Busy is a good thing though right? Certainly no complaint on my end as I have had a blast with how many sessions have been done these last 2 months! I shall pick up where I left off with Baby Blake... also known as Blue Steele up until this session! That girl sure makes you work for those smiles, so imagine my surprise when I seen her getting into her stroller and already she was full of smiles! She most certainly rocked this session and I couldn't stop smiling just seeing her so happy! Its always amazing watching the little ones come into their own and develop their own personality. Another huge reason why I love doing what I do! Now to kick off some of my favorite photos from our sessions (although how does one choose when their model was amazing AND cute?)
I'm so excited to share this post with you! This session was a special one for me because Big Brother was my very first newborn I ever photographed ( and look at him now!!!) and now he's a big brother to a handsome little man. This mama is certainly going to have her hands full when they get older I tell you, I know I'm totally sucked in! The smiles from this session are brought to you via kinder surprise eggs, and zoo animals haha, ahhh the simple things in life! These photos are my favorite from our session together i can not wait to see these guys again we had so much fun!
This post is coming late but things have been busy so I'm trying to get all caught up now! I loved this session for so many reasons. Despite starting it off with a bit of rain things turned out pretty good for us. I fell in love with this location almost immediately, the colors, the trees, the creek... everything. Having 2 pretty fantastic models.... well that was just a added bonus haha! I've been photographing this little one since she was in her mama's belly and its been amazing to see her grow. I love her smiles and giggles and the fact that I can understand her when she talks now, but time really does fly by too fast. Here are a few of my favorite shots from this shoot, I hope you love them as much as I do!

I can't wait to see what the rest of our year has in store for us! With out further delay here is a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy :)
How can you not fall in love with him?
It's that time of year again, time to start thinking about fall photos and what outfits to wear to make your session perfect. Here are a few tips and ideas to get you going . These are just suggestions to get the ball rolling for you, please feel free to add your own style and flare! All photo boards are compliments of http://www.thedatingdivas.com/ for anyone who wanted to go looking for more ideas, you can also check Pinterest or Google image search:) Here are a few quick tips to take into consideration while choosing your wardrobe:
-Choose coordinating colors. A good start is picking a base color (a neutral color) and then choose 2-3 colors to make it pop. Don't be afraid to mix colors or patterns as long as they coordinate with one another, and remember that having the 3-4 colors is just a guide not everyone has to be wearing all of the colors.
-Don't wear any clothing with distracting logo's, brand names, or characters. Doing so only distracts the attention away from the subject, which then defeats the purpose of getting nice family photos done!
- Don't forget about footwear!! No one wants to see ratty old sneakers or flip flops in your photos! Remember a photo lasts a lifetime wear nice shoes! :)
-Layering or accessorizing is a great way to add not only dimension to your photos but your own style as well! Don't be afraid to wear that hat or scarf or jewelry! These photos are to showcase you and your family, so be unique, put your own flare into it!
- Last but not least wear something COMFORTABLE! If you or anyone on the family is uncomfortable in what they are wearing that discomfort is sure to show through in the photos.
Here are some fantastic visual aids for you :)
As always if you have any questions concerns or would like to book a session please use the contact form at the bottom of this post! I can't wait to get these sessions rolling!
