Despite the fact that our location was being transformed into what is now the festival of lights, and therefore drastically cutting down on the amount of ideas we could have put to the test, we still managed to have a great shoot! I think have such a gorgeous mama to be certainly helped things out! Can't even contain my excitement to do Miss Aubrey's newborn photos within the next few weeks once she makes her grand entrance! Here are some of our favorite photos from our session!
Just last week I had the fantastic opportunity to work with the fabulous Howe family again. The one thing I love more than being able to work with return clients is seeing how much things have changed since our last session! The last time I seen Miss Sophia she wasn't quite sitting up by herself yet and wasn't too impressed by the camera being in her face. This time round little missy has starting walking and talking and was so full of smiles I couldn't even contain myself. It truly is amazing to see the little ones grow! Here are some of my favorites from our mini session! I can't wait to see the cards when they come in! (come on Mother Nature and cooperate for us I should have had them yesterday!)
Here's a pic taken from our first session together and then our most recent one! I'm not joking when I say she's just too much! What a little doll, and no shortage of personality this one will make anyone smile, she's simply infectious!
A couple weeks ago a friend of mine along with her sister and I braved the cold for a wintery snow session! Little did we know just how cold spending a hour out in the snow would actually turn out to be! Despite the shivering, runny noses and various body parts going numb we still managed to have a great session and walk away with some really fun shots! The laughing and end result made it all worth it in the end! Here's some of our favorites from the shoot!
With the new year comes new changes and resolutions and the excitement of what another year will bring! I've decided that effective January 1st, 2014 that Bryanne Rose Photography will be undergoing some changes in order to have things run a little smoother and more effectively! So introducing the new changes:
- All sessions must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance, this is to give us both time to prepare and get things ready!
- In order to secure your session date 50% of the session fee is due at time of booking. This is a non refundable retainer fee and will not be reimbursed in cases of cancellations however can be used towards rescheduling
your sessions at a later date.
-Once your session is booked and retainer fee paid we will schedule a consultation, if not in person than over the phone or even via Skype. During the consultation we will discuss what to expect during your shoot, any ideas you may have and "what to wear" options along with any questions you may have. We will also go over and sign the model release.
- This coming year I will not be scheduling more than 2 sessions a week, and will no longer be scheduling double sessions on the same day with the exception of advertised Mini Sessions.
-Galleries will be posted for 10 days to choose your images then they will be removed. This is to prevent hitting limits however if for whatever reason 10 days is not enough time I will re open the gallery for a small fee. ( this can be discussed when the time comes)
- Once the craziness of the Holidays is over I will be launching a referral incentive so please keep your eyes open for that! I'm working out somethings now and can't wait to get it launched!
I can not thank all my fabulous clients enough for all their support over this first year of my journey! I can not wait to see what 2014 brings and to work with everyone again. Its always such fin to see how families grow and kiddos get bigger and to see how their personalities grow and develop! One of the biggest joys for me is returning clients because I love love love seeing how much things can change in a year or even in a few months! Thank you thank you thank you for believing in me and trusting me with capturing your precious moments! Just writing this is making me smile! Without you I wouldn't be where I am now! I can only imagine how much fun this next year will be... BRING IT ON!
Coming a little bit late again but with all the craziness of having a sick kiddo and hubby and the full time job on top of it I just couldn't keep up! With all that out of the way here's Miss Kira and her man Craig! They were my first session in this wonderful snow and despite the fact that it was a bit chilly I think we came out with some pretty cute shots! We did everything from snow fights to cuddling and by the end of our session all of us were numb! ( for good reason of course!) Here's our favorites from the day!
Just thought I would share a personal post today for fun! This week my best friend's son turned 4 and I can't help but find myself reminiscing. I've nick-named him "my favorite little man" right from day one and I've been fortunate enough to watch both him and my daughter grow up together. I am blown away with every year that passes just how quickly they grow up and develop their own personalities! Its hard to believe he's 4 already when it seems like just yesterday I was flying in from across the country to meet him for the first time! Happy Birthday Little Man!!! Love you to the moon and back. I always look forward to seeing that goofy little grin of yours! You don't even know how many people's lives are brightened just by having you in it! Here's to many more birthdays and watching you grow into what I'm sure will be an amazing young man! Now to share a few photos from over the years! (These may not be the most "professional" quality photos but they are perfect for reminiscing and that's what this is in the spirit of!)
This cheesy smile just makes my day! Thank you for taking the time to look at his cuteness overload over the last 4 years!
I know I have had quite a few inquires about doing more "wintery" feeling photos for Christmas cards and now that we have some snow that looks like its going to stick around here goes! All sessions will be half hour long at Nose Creek Park Tuesday November 12th and Wednesday November 13th. I have limited spots open so please book right away to ensure your spot! Sessions include 5 images on a disc along with the print release as well as a online gallery to choose your favorite images and 25 custom made Christmas cards for $65! Additional images may be purchased separately. Anyone wanting to do the mini session with out the cards included have the option to do so for the price of $45! I can't help but think of how much fun these will be! Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
What better way to welcome that wonderful bundle of joy into the world than by capturing just how teeny tiny perfect they are? Newborn photography is a little bit more extensive than other sessions, as there are many aspects that go into making the session successful! Here's a look into what you can expect!
-Newborn photos must be scheduled the first 4-10 days of little peanut's arrival as they are much easier to keep asleep and work with.
-First rule make the house extra toasty(turn up that heat!) we don't want the little peanut to catch a draft, space heaters and heating pads are a great asset in ensuring baby stays warm throughout our shooting time. We want to make sure baby isn't stressed and is relaxed, warm and cozy.
- We want as much natural light as possible so keep in mind which room in your house allows for the most light for us to work with ( this will have to be the warmest room)
-A sleepy baby makes things much easier so we'll try to schedule around feeding time so baby can feed and doze off. With this being said some things to take into consideration are: have baby in only a diaper and blankie to keep warm during the last feeding and make sure that you undo the diaper before they fall asleep as the noise startles them. This makes a much smoother transition from feeding to posing and getting into starting the photographing process, no need for undressing or disturbing them too much. White noise is a great tool to use in helping those babies getting to sleep and staying asleep, the sound soothes them as it reminds them of being in the womb.
-Be prepared to be very involved! Newborn safety is always first priority so we need to make sure that they are supported the entire time. It takes a few different photos merged together to get those adorable posed shots in order to keep that little peanut safe! With this being said you'll have to help out with being that support, but do not fret as I will be there to guide you!
-Newborns are unpredictable, sometimes they don't always cooperate right off the bat, do not worry as we have up to 4 hours shooting time! This gives us plenty of time to stop for a feeding or snuggles or what ever maybe needed.
-Editing time takes a little longer due to the skin tones, merging photos etc, however I can assure you it is well worth the wait! I will have your gallery up as soon as I possibly can!
- Do not hesitate to incorporate any props that will make your session more personal and unique.
As always if you have any other questions regarding newborn photos don't hesitate to ask!
Halloween is upon us yet again ( how hard is it to believe October is already over!?!) What better way to celebrate than to show off the cuties I was lucky enough to work with! I love their excitement and seeing them all dressed up! Just too cute!
It's hard not to get into the spirit with these cuties around!
Last week I got to work with a fabulous family of 4! After having to reschedule a time or two we were excited to get out and shooting, so excited in fact that I don't think anyone sat still for more than a few seconds haha! Certainly made for a very fun session... you'd have fun too if it ended in a leaf fight!! How can one argue with that? Isn't that what fall is all about? Again working with these cuties I'm reminded how awesome kids are to capture! Everything from cuddles to the hammed up faces, to the smiles they didn't know you caught! Just wonderful! Oh and did I mention how adventurous this family was too?? I don't think I know of too many pregnant Mama's out there willing to climb up into trees for a photo op! I found it incredibly difficult to narrow down this shoots gallery, we just had so much fun! Such a privilege to work with such a wonderful family! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!
