In the spirit of trying to grow and move forward I have decided to do couples portfolio building special. The purpose of the special is to get more experience working with couples and to use the images in my portfolio, therefore a model release will be required to sign before the session. I'm only offering 6 spots so they will be on a first some first serve basis. I'm hoping weather permitting that I can schedule them for next weekend however I will be able to reschedule if mother nature does not cooperate. The sessions will be half hour long and consist of 5 digital images with the option to purchase additional files, a online gallery to choose your images from along with the print release so you are able to print your own copies. Be sure to book quickly! Looking forward to capturing some lovebirds :)
In order to give better thanks to my awesome clients I have decided to start up a referral incentive. Effective immediately any session that gets booked because they were referred to me from a client will be eligible for a print credit. Every time a new client mentions they were referred to me by "someone" that "someone" will receive a free 11x14 print of their choice when they book their next session. This print can be chosen from any shoot past or present, the more your name gets mentioned the more you get! So go on... get out there... start spreading the word! I can't wait to meet new clients while rewarding my ever so awesome present clients! ( who doesn't love free stuff?) Please do not forget that I do require half payment upFor any further questions please don't hesitate to ask!
I had the pleasure of kicking off the New Year with a Newborn session a couple weeks ago, can't complain about starting off the year with some snuggles right? What can I say about Miss Aria?? Well besides the fact the she's beautiful, stubborn, squishy faced and just a joy to spend time with? I haven't come across a baby who loves to be held and snuggled as much as she did! We certainly had to work for our shots for her session but I feel the end result was well worth it. I can't wait to shoot her again and see her grow up, you can just already tell she's going to be a little beauty! Have I mentioned how privileged I feel that I get to work such amazing (and cute!) clients?? Can't say I don't love what I do! Ok.... now for the best part the photos! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

What better way to remember that first year?
Today was the day my daughter and I woke up early spent forever curling her hair (just the way she likes it) and were planning on doing her Valentine's photos. Well I forget just how much hair that daughter of mine has so before you knew it we were down to the wire 20 minutes left before she had to start getting her things gathered for school! Needless to say we didn't have time to play with lighting in the house to get it just right so instead we opted to do the outdoor part first. Being on a time crunch we just had our mini session underneath the giant tree in my front yard and BAM 15 minute later we were done and I managed to get some pretty fantastic images. I can't say enough how much I enjoy photographing kids, I just love how silly yet serious they can be and how everyday you could manage to get a different face from them! Enough of my babbling here's my favorite little Princess in her outdoor mini shoot! *sigh* Cuteness overload warning!
It's that time of year again! Valentine's day is right around the corner so I'm pleased to announce Mini Sessions in honor of the holiday! I have 2 different sessions set up as I'm hoping to be able to wrangle indoor shoot for the kiddos as well as include a sheet of wallet sized customized Valentines. The second session is more geared towards couples not afraid to brave the snow and cold with me ( I think its getting warmer out.... at least for now haha!) I'm opening up the dates for Jan15/16th to Feb8th 2014 but there is limited availability so you must book early to ensure I have your date open! Book your session via firstname.lastname@example.org, through my Facebook page or through the contact me form included at he bottom of this post! I can't wait to see what we come up with!
What better way to kick off the new year than with some adorable photos taken from my last Newborn shoot! Now that the holidays have wound down I am finally able to get everything all caught up and ready to go! Behold the cuteness of Miss Aubrey Lynn! While she's undeniably adorable this little lady never fully fell asleep which made things a little more difficult to work with, but none the less we were able to walk away with some great photos! I hope you enjoy her cuteness just as much as I have!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop in and have a look! I can't wait to see what a beauty she's going to grow up to be.... she's already off to a great start!
To those who are close to me or follow along with what's going on with my family or myself outside of just photography you'd know what a rough year this one has panned out to be. Through everything that has happened I can not explain to you how much having these photos to look back on means to me and how grateful I am to be able to look at them whenever I please. This year marked my hubby and I's 5th wedding anniversary and our 10th year together,a heart scare with one of my family members, my daughter started school, we brought a new pet into our family,my little one had her first season of soccer(EVER!) my family lost a very dear family member to cancer, I grew closer to some family and drifted farther apart from others. All in all a very busy year that has shown me if nothing less than the fact that life's too short... not to hold on to grudges or dwell on the past, not to worry for the future and more importantly focus on the now. Don't take a single thing for granted as you may wake up tomorrow and its all gone! I am grateful for the lessons but still find myself reminiscing and missing those from the past. These images I've chosen are my favorite "personal shots" from this year... some may be imperfect but those are the ones I hold closest to my heart!
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my favorites from the past year. I look forward to what 2014 has to offer!
Wow!!! What else can I say? This year has been a total blur for me with its crazy ups and downs. Photography was always just something I thought of as a hobby I never had the confidence that it would become something so much more for me! Thanks to all the amazing support from family and friends taking that jump wasn't nearly as scary as I told myself it was going to be. To all my amazing clients who put their faith in me I can not express my gratitude. Working with everyone has put a new drive and inspiration into me that I can not explain in words. With the year coming to a end I decided what better way to end the year than with showing off my favorite photos from my sessions... Now bear with me I've been having a hard time narrowing them down! I thought that perhaps I could do a "top 13 photos of 2013" post but NOPE!! No way I can narrow it down THAT much, I've decided to split it up! I'll do one post for session favorites and one post for personal favorites! Too many awesome sessions I simply just can not pick only 13 haha! So here we go, I'm thinking we'll go chronologically! ( or as close to as I can manage!)
Despite the fact that our location was being transformed into what is now the festival of lights, and therefore drastically cutting down on the amount of ideas we could have put to the test, we still managed to have a great shoot! I think have such a gorgeous mama to be certainly helped things out! Can't even contain my excitement to do Miss Aubrey's newborn photos within the next few weeks once she makes her grand entrance! Here are some of our favorite photos from our session!
