I think it's safe for me to say I'm clear now of all the wonderful sickness that has plagued me for almost a month... finally! Now I'm ready to jump into a new year of shooting fabulous new memories, what better way to kick off a new year than reflecting on this past year? I know I say all the time how much I love my clients because without them I would not be able to do what I love... However I mean it every single time. I am so blessed to have such wonderful loyal clients, I honestly countdown to our sessions. Before I get too sappy I shall jump right into the photos... Here are some of my favorite captures over the past year. Please bear with me as I always have such a hard time narrowing down my favorites... this may or may not be photo overload... I hope you enjoy!
I could seriously go on for days, there's just so much cuteness. How does one narrow it down? I hope you guys enjoyed the photos as much as I have. I can't wait to see what 2017 has in store. Bring on the memories!!
I can't believe our time together is over! The year always seems to go by so fast, I've yet to find a way to slow it down. I love how happy this not so little man always is, and even more so how infectious those baby blues of his are along with that smile. Not only did we do his last session we added on a family photo shoot to the end just to put the cherry on top! I loved everything about these shoots from the family, to the location, to the smiles.... Just love all of it! Here are some of my favorites!
Annnnnd here is the cutest family on the planet!
I'm always complaining about how fast time flies and how I wish it would slow down and today is no different. It's hard to believe this little guy is 9 months already and since I've seen him last he's started crawling and pulling himself up on furniture!! How does that happen so quickly? We decided with the weather being hard to call that we would do a lifestyle themed shoot this round in the comfort of his own home, and am I glad we did! They turned out great! Don't mind all the black and white.... I have a soft spot for them on this shoot. Here's a few of my favorites, looking forward to seeing him next session, by then I'm sure he'll be walking!
I wish these littles wouldn't grow up so fast! It still feels like yesterday when I did this cutie's newborn photos and now he's a year already. Maybe my denial is why this post is coming so late haha! We had awesome weather for out cake smash session a few weeks back which helped make for some great photos. I loved how our session turned out, here are a few of my favorites... go ahead try not to smile...
Its actually starting to feel like fall now isn't it? The temperature is dropping quickly now and I've already started pulling out the chunky sweaters and increased my coffee intake (after all how else am I going to keep my hands warm right?) On the topic of how much I love fall here is another one of my sessions that I loved! I have been photographing this little one since she was in her mama's belly. It's always amazing to see how much they've grown, and I will NEVER get sick of seeing that infectious smile of hers. The fact that little lady was dressed like her Mama right down to matching converse was just an added smile factor! Without any further delay here are some of my top picks from our latest session.
How can you not get sucked in by this face?
It's no secret that Fall is my favorite time of year. I love almost everything about it, but my favorite part is the colors that come with it. What could make my fall better??? Well hanging out with this family of course! I've been photographing these boys since they were born (one of which right from maternity) so it's always a pleasure to see them again and how much they've grown... getting Momma in the photos this year was a nice bonus! The weather for our shoot wasn't exactly ideal and by the time we agreed to pull the plug it had started to pour, however these kiddos smiles can brighten even the dreariest days. Here are some of my favorites from our session!
It seems like life is always so busy lately and that I'm running behind all the time! I have not forgotten to post Mr. Austin's 6 month portraits this summer has just gone by way too fast and back to school came with a force this year! Little man was so serious for our shoot this round, but certainly loved being in the field. He was so interested in everything from the field itself, to the wind blowing. to the sound of traffic driving by... all of it was super fascinating, made it hard to get any smiles from him let alone to look at the camera! It's a good thing we had back up! Here are some of my favorite photos from our latest session, I can't wait to see him next!
He sure is one handsome little man, here's to our next session!
I always enjoy seeing this little guy, he sure knows how to turn it on for the camera! I don't think I've ever seen him upset, and I'm not sure what I love most about him those killer baby blues or the lashes that go with them! He's certainly going to be a ladies man, I can see it already! Here are my favorites from our most recent session. I can't wait to see him next as we're planning something a little different to celebrate his 1 year milestone.
Yet another bitter sweet post coming a little bit late but here goes none the less.. It's crazy to me that I have another little that has turned a year already! Miss Lucy has been one of the easiest kids I have ever had to photograph, right from her newborn session through to her cake smash. She always had a smile on and is truly one of the happiest babies I have ever met. If those blue eyes of her don't suck you in her infectious smile most certainly will. I loved every minute with this little lady and can't wait to see her grow even more. Without any further delay here is Miss Lucy rocking her 1 year and cake smash sessions!
How do they grow so fast? Hard to believe that squishy faced newborn is now a little lady all her own!
I honestly don't know what to say about this little princess! She's pretty much perfect in every way, despite the weather the day of the shoot being a little on the chilly side she was all smiles and came ready to rock her session. She cracked me up with talkative she is now and totally blew me away with how quickly she can crawl and escape now haha! I think I'll be needing to start a workout for our next session because I think I'll have to run to keep up to her once she starts walking. In spirit of Easter here's our favorites from our session!
