I think it's safe for me to say I'm clear now of all the wonderful sickness that has plagued me for almost a month... finally! Now I'm ready to jump into a new year of shooting fabulous new memories, what better way to kick off a new year than reflecting on this past year? I know I say all the time how much I love my clients because without them I would not be able to do what I love... However I mean it every single time. I am so blessed to have such wonderful loyal clients, I honestly countdown to our sessions. Before I get too sappy I shall jump right into the photos... Here are some of my favorite captures over the past year. Please bear with me as I always have such a hard time narrowing down my favorites... this may or may not be photo overload... I hope you enjoy!
I could seriously go on for days, there's just so much cuteness. How does one narrow it down? I hope you guys enjoyed the photos as much as I have. I can't wait to see what 2017 has in store. Bring on the memories!!
Normally I would have had this post up weeks ago but with a house full of family and then a round of the plague things have been out of control ( mostly in a good way... minus the plague of course!) So now that things have started to settle down and I'm feeling better here goes! These are some of my favorite personal photos from this last year. Some of these may not be technically perfect, or a product of my best work but all these photos have a great meaning to me from this past year. This year was a great year, from my little brother graduating to my daughter's first communion and reconciliation and dance recital to a trip to Abbotsford for the airshow... Loved it! Stay on the look out for my other post where I'll share my favorite client photos from the year as well!
I hope you enjoyed, it's always so hard to narrow down my favorites from the past year! What was your best memories of 2016? Here's to 2017 and all the new memories sure to be created!
I love love love this family! We've been together for years now, and I always look forward to seeing them in the fall/winter for their annual family portraits. You never know what kind of trouble we're going to get in and can count on laughing for a huge portion of our session. It certainly makes my job easy :) Here are a few of my favorite photos from our last session, they were certainly troopers coming out in the cold with me! I could not have asked for a better way to end off my sessions for 2016! Thanks for being such a supportive force behind me guys, I appreciate it more than you know :)
I can't believe our time together is over! The year always seems to go by so fast, I've yet to find a way to slow it down. I love how happy this not so little man always is, and even more so how infectious those baby blues of his are along with that smile. Not only did we do his last session we added on a family photo shoot to the end just to put the cherry on top! I loved everything about these shoots from the family, to the location, to the smiles.... Just love all of it! Here are some of my favorites!
Annnnnd here is the cutest family on the planet!
I love this tine of year, I love the color changes and the excitement of Christmas being right around the corner. I especially love being able to catch up with old friends while capturing some ridiculously amazing family photos. This mama and I go way back so I was beyond honored when she contacted me asking if I would be up for doing their family portraits this year. Honestly though look at them.... how could I have said no? Everything came into line for us this session, I honestly can't complain about any of it! So with that being said here are some of my favorites :)
Its actually starting to feel like fall now isn't it? The temperature is dropping quickly now and I've already started pulling out the chunky sweaters and increased my coffee intake (after all how else am I going to keep my hands warm right?) On the topic of how much I love fall here is another one of my sessions that I loved! I have been photographing this little one since she was in her mama's belly. It's always amazing to see how much they've grown, and I will NEVER get sick of seeing that infectious smile of hers. The fact that little lady was dressed like her Mama right down to matching converse was just an added smile factor! Without any further delay here are some of my top picks from our latest session.
How can you not get sucked in by this face?
It's no secret that Fall is my favorite time of year. I love almost everything about it, but my favorite part is the colors that come with it. What could make my fall better??? Well hanging out with this family of course! I've been photographing these boys since they were born (one of which right from maternity) so it's always a pleasure to see them again and how much they've grown... getting Momma in the photos this year was a nice bonus! The weather for our shoot wasn't exactly ideal and by the time we agreed to pull the plug it had started to pour, however these kiddos smiles can brighten even the dreariest days. Here are some of my favorites from our session!
Who's excited for fall photos????
How insane is it that the leaves are already changing colors and we're finding the temperature drop already? You know what that means though don't you....FALL PHOTOS!! It's truly my favorite time of year to take photos so I'm finding it hard to contain myself that its time to write up this post. Everyone wants to look good for their photo session so here are a few tips and photo examples to help get you started in the right direction...
Now that I've posted some of my favorite client photos from last year I thought it would be only fitting to share a few of my favorite personal moments from the past year, and some "Mommy moments" even. These are also pretty hard for me to narrow down as 2015 was a big year of firsts in a lot of ways. you will have to bear with me as some of these photos may not be technically perfect but they all hold a place in my heart!
It's that time of year again! Time for me to take a look back at how many wonderful clients I've had and share some of my favorite photos from our sessions together. 2015 has been a amazing year for me, I've had some great sessions with past clients and even managed to meet some new fabulous clients along the way. I am most grateful to all my clients as they are the reason I am able to continue following this passion of mine. So! Here's a big CHEERS to ending off 2015 with a bang and even bigger THANK YOU to those wonderful clients of mine! Looking forward to an amazing 2016 with all of you!
So many great photos to choose from I could go on and on! Stay tuned in the next week or so for my top personal photos of 2015. I hope you loved them as much as I do! Happy New Year!
