What better way to kick off the new year than with a newborn? And better yet to have the whole year together? This little man was so well behaved, he was one of the most mellow babies I've ever photographed... even when he got cranky he was cute! This little guy was so cooperative that not only did we finish almost a hour early we even had time to get photos with mom and dad in which has never happened before! I can not wait to share with you some of my favorite photos from our time together he's certainly adorable and sure to suck you in. So enough talking haha! Introducing Baby Austin 14 days new! I can not wait to see him for his next shoot!
I'm so excited to share this blog post with everyone because I feel like little man made us wait for forever to finally meet him! I have no complaints about this guys session what so ever what a little trooper, he was so good we even managed to finish early! From minions to dirt biking this little guy is just too cute! I can't wait to see what the rest of our year has in store for us! With out further delay here is a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy :)
How can you not fall in love with him?
I was so excited to meet this little princess! She threw me for a little bit of a loop coming 9 days early but I am certainly not complaining. She was such a little angel! She went to sleep for us pretty easily but made sure we knew that she was not up for being moved around almost at all, she certainly put up a fuss when we tried to pose her. I guess its a good thing that her sleeping pose is perfect :) Honestly what a little doll! I can not wait until our next session and I am looking forward to spending her first year with her. With all that being said here is a few from our first session together, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
I had the pleasure of kicking off the New Year with a Newborn session a couple weeks ago, can't complain about starting off the year with some snuggles right? What can I say about Miss Aria?? Well besides the fact the she's beautiful, stubborn, squishy faced and just a joy to spend time with? I haven't come across a baby who loves to be held and snuggled as much as she did! We certainly had to work for our shots for her session but I feel the end result was well worth it. I can't wait to shoot her again and see her grow up, you can just already tell she's going to be a little beauty! Have I mentioned how privileged I feel that I get to work such amazing (and cute!) clients?? Can't say I don't love what I do! Ok.... now for the best part the photos! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
What better way to kick off the new year than with some adorable photos taken from my last Newborn shoot! Now that the holidays have wound down I am finally able to get everything all caught up and ready to go! Behold the cuteness of Miss Aubrey Lynn! While she's undeniably adorable this little lady never fully fell asleep which made things a little more difficult to work with, but none the less we were able to walk away with some great photos! I hope you enjoy her cuteness just as much as I have!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop in and have a look! I can't wait to see what a beauty she's going to grow up to be.... she's already off to a great start!
What better way to welcome that wonderful bundle of joy into the world than by capturing just how teeny tiny perfect they are? Newborn photography is a little bit more extensive than other sessions, as there are many aspects that go into making the session successful! Here's a look into what you can expect!
-Newborn photos must be scheduled the first 4-10 days of little peanut's arrival as they are much easier to keep asleep and work with.
-First rule make the house extra toasty(turn up that heat!) we don't want the little peanut to catch a draft, space heaters and heating pads are a great asset in ensuring baby stays warm throughout our shooting time. We want to make sure baby isn't stressed and is relaxed, warm and cozy.
- We want as much natural light as possible so keep in mind which room in your house allows for the most light for us to work with ( this will have to be the warmest room)
-A sleepy baby makes things much easier so we'll try to schedule around feeding time so baby can feed and doze off. With this being said some things to take into consideration are: have baby in only a diaper and blankie to keep warm during the last feeding and make sure that you undo the diaper before they fall asleep as the noise startles them. This makes a much smoother transition from feeding to posing and getting into starting the photographing process, no need for undressing or disturbing them too much. White noise is a great tool to use in helping those babies getting to sleep and staying asleep, the sound soothes them as it reminds them of being in the womb.
-Be prepared to be very involved! Newborn safety is always first priority so we need to make sure that they are supported the entire time. It takes a few different photos merged together to get those adorable posed shots in order to keep that little peanut safe! With this being said you'll have to help out with being that support, but do not fret as I will be there to guide you!
-Newborns are unpredictable, sometimes they don't always cooperate right off the bat, do not worry as we have up to 4 hours shooting time! This gives us plenty of time to stop for a feeding or snuggles or what ever maybe needed.
-Editing time takes a little longer due to the skin tones, merging photos etc, however I can assure you it is well worth the wait! I will have your gallery up as soon as I possibly can!
- Do not hesitate to incorporate any props that will make your session more personal and unique.
As always if you have any other questions regarding newborn photos don't hesitate to ask!
The time finally came!! Little man finally decided to make his Grand Entrance and I could hardly wait to get in to do those photos! Cute as he is he sure made us work for those photos, only 2 bottles, some white noise and a hour and a half later we finally got him into a sleep where we could work with him. Here are some of the favorites... be prepared for a cuteness overload he is seriously just too much! Welcome to the world little man! happy I could be there to document your coming home! Without further a-do here is Baby Marcus 6 days new!
